Analyze

Cross-Dimensional Analytics

Flexible drill-down across any two dimensions of your return data.

Cross-Dimensional Analytics is the flexible drill-down surface for analysts who already know the question they’re asking. Pick two dimensions (e.g. return reason × product type), pick a view, and slice your data until the pattern falls out.

Three views

  • Overview— Side-by-side summary metrics for the two selected dimensions.
  • Hotspots— Heatmap of the intersection. Cells light up when the combination is over-represented in your data.
  • Trends— The same cross-section plotted over time so you can see whether a hotspot is growing or fading.

Available dimensions

Reason cluster, risk zone, product type, refund method, customer cohort, and order status are all selectable on either axis. Plus a date range picker scoped to the same presets as the rest of the analytics surfaces (Today / 7d / 30d / 90d / custom).

Drill-down

Click any cell in the heatmap or matrix to open a panel listing the returns that fall into that intersection. From there you can jump to the return detail page, the order, or the customer.

Exports

Every view exports to CSV. The Hotspots view additionally exports as JSON for downstream BI ingestion.

Performance and freshness

Cross-dimensional queries hit a pre-aggregated rollup so a 90-day view loads in under two seconds even for shops with tens of thousands of returns. The trade-off: the rollup refreshes hourly, so data can be up to 60 minutes stale. The dashboard and detail pages remain real-time.
